Band
Entry Info
(for Directors Only)
Welcome! This is going to be an exciting
2008 Marching Band season as we prepare for the 2nd Annual Osseo
Marching Band Festival! We want you to be a part
of this fantastic performing arts competition in Osseo, Minnesota.
Our
motto is “it’s all about the bands” so some of the unique benefits we
offer to participating bands are:
·
Full 6-person judging panel – Ensure full attention
given to each section of the band.
·
Early Check-in Times – Check-in opens three hours
prior to step-off.
·
Travel Stipend – Although we guarantee a travel
stipend to the first 10 registered bands, usually all competing bands
will likely receive the stipend to help offset expenses.
·
Band Hosts – Each band is provided concierge
service with an experienced band host who has direct radio and telephone
links to the organizing committee. Our hosts assist with those
extraordinary issues like offering tools to fix a prop or finding a
spare pair of shoes.
·
Caption Awards – In addition to the 1st,
2nd and 3rd place trophies and prize money, we
also offer best overall color guard, drumline and winds trophies and a
trophy for grand champion.
We also provide a post-performance refreshment for all competing bands
and we can help with overnight accommodations, breakfast the morning of
the competition or anything else your band may need. Just ask!
The first step in experiencing this new venue is
to fill out an
entry application on the web site. The entry application asks that you provide details of your band and its directors.
Performance order will be determined by random drawing. Classes will be assigned
based on the information provided in the

All applications can be made on-line. However, to request a band application form by mail, contact
Event Organizers or send a request to:
